Job Description

The Kids Club Supervisor has to plan and implement for the Attendants the daily activities for children, ensure their safety, and brief them on maintaining a clean and orderly room and the Kids Club Center.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Treats each child with dignity and respect.
  • Recognizes and considers the individual needs of each child.
  • Help children learn to think creatively and to respect themselves and others.
  • Supervise the attendants in planning and implementing the daily program for children.
  • Check and ensure that all kids have a registration form on file.
  • Supervise the work of attendants to prevent injuries and accidents and handle them appropriately if they occur.
  • Make sure that attendants attend the team member training sessions, meetings, and programs as required.
  • Supervise and share the responsibility of maintaining a clean, orderly room and the club center.
  • Supervise and report problems, injuries, and hazards promptly to the manager.
  • Supervise and assist attendants if needed to complete their daily tasks.
  • Check and supervise the work of attendants based on proper security procedures; ensure that all proper formalities are completed as per the standard operating procedure.
  • Check with the attendants to sanitize the toys and play equipment as per the SOP.
  • Interact with the children in a positive and age-appropriate manner.
  • Physically and mentally, react appropriately to unexpected circumstances.
  • To check and ensure that attendants can be able to stoop and bend to interact on children’s level throughout the day.
  • Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed as needed within the day and meets the monthly report deadlines.
  • Performs other job-related duties as requested by the manager.

Qualifications

  • General education related to child care, a diploma in hospitality management, or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in a similar position in a 5-star resort or hotel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent command in both written and spoken English.
  • A positive "can-do" attitude and flexibility.
  • High degree of integrity.
  • Trained in administering first aid, CPR, and AED.
  • Computer skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Office.
