Job Description

  • Supervise and monitor the activities of food and beverage outlets.
  • Monitor the daily requisitions and stock (excess and shortage)
  • Introduce new schemes and promotional strategies to increase F&B sales of the outlets, with approval of the management.
  • Portray leadership qualities and develop team spirit under all circumstances.
  • Co-ordinate with Outlet Supervisors and prepare attendance sheets of staff
  • To prepare monthly inventories of the cutleries and crockery’s and co-ordinate with Accounts to the same.
  • Be cost and quality conscious at all times; maintain strict control on wastage, spoilage and breakage.
  • Undertake responsibilities for decision making in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  • Make sure staffs attend to training classes as scheduled.
  • Practice corrective coaching, on-the-job training accordance with the departmental guidelines.
  • Check daily that all duty rosters are correct and full team is on duty at correct time to cover the business of the day.
  • Follow the directives and instructions given by the department head / in-charge and take prompt action for the same.
  • Maintain cordial harmony among staff, colleagues and the management.
  • Liaise with Supervisor (Outlet captains/supervisors) for special sales promotion, activities, functions and events
  • Organize the outlets to ensure that guests receive pleasant, speedy and efficient service.
  • Supervise and monitor the activities of F&B Supervisor at assign duties to them.
  • Co-ordinate with outlet supervisors in order to run the outlets smoothly.
  • Communicate with outlet supervisors and find out their difficulties at coordinate with all concerns for the same.
  • Maintain a proper chain of communication between the supervisors and management.
  • Increase the productivity of staff by motivating them to give their best.
  • Loyalty towards job and management

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

•    Secondary / High school education / Hotel Management Degree
•    Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage
•    Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
•    Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
•    Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
•    Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
