Job Description

  • To adhere to all Resort and PADI safety policies and procedures.
  • To conduct Boat dives in a professional manner in compliance with the PADI standards and according to Resort standard.
  • To guide snorkelers and divers of different levels to sites around the resort confidently.
  • To man the dive reception making guest reservations, divers registrations and issuing of dive equipment.
  • To assist in the sales of retail shop, snorkeling rentals and answering the phone with resort standard.
  • To prepare the gear for the students and boat divers always prior to the arrival of guest.
  • To attend the dive center briefings daily.
  • To attend guest parties or gatherings organised by diveOceanus.
  • To support and participate in Project AWARE projects organised by diveOceanus
  • As a PADI member abide all the requirements and intent of all PADI standards and procedures as published in the PADI Instructor Manual, Training bulletins and other updates while conducting PADI course and other programmes.
  • Conduct yourself and your PADI- related activities in a professional manner.
  • Comply with the intent of the PADI standard “Safe diving practices statement of understanding” while acting in a teaching or supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

  • Must be a PADI dive instructor/EFR instructor with teaching status 
  • Must have PADI-endorsed Dan insurance. 
  • Must be able to do minium three dives per day. 
  • Should, be medically fit and able to conduct physical activities.
  • Must have all dive equipment in excellent condition for teaching
  • Must be able to conduct all padi courses up to dive master level according to Padi standards. 
  • Must be able to teach at least five padi specialty courses, including Nitrox
