Job Description

  • Development and implementation of HR administrative / transactional processes Including drafting and updating employment contracts / changes to terms (ensuring contracts reflect current legislation), procedural checklists, forms and other documentation.
  • Type letters, memos, reports with instruction of HR Manager/Asst. HR Manager in acceptable standard of layout, accuracy and speed.
  • Handle interdepartmental correspondence, ensure local/foreign Team Members mail and the company mail is correctly distributed.
  • To prepare weekly and monthly report for the section assigned based on the information collated from logs and related records.
  • To prepare monthly payroll related tasks of the section assigned on the last day of the month in reference to relevant records.
  • To handle all recruitment, termination, leaves payments of the section assigned. Ensure accuracy of all these records.
  • To distribute time sheets every 26th of each month to all departments / sections.
  • To prepare absence and no-pay deduction report when the month’s payroll is processed.
  • To deal with telephone enquiries.
  • To observe staff proceeding for off days and all leaves and ensure accurate records are maintained.
  • To maintain any file, logs, and folder or create any other report for the execution of the tasks assigned with the approval of department head.
  • To maintain shift hand over information accurately.
  • To maintain a personal folder, a monthly work plan and an organizer journal with daily and routine work assignments given.
  • Attend to meetings and briefing if required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management or a similar field
  • Must have proven experience working as an HR Executive or its equivalent.
  • Having familiarity with the human resource software and applicant tracking system.
  • Experienced with recruiting and its full cycle.
  • Having knowledge of Labour Law of Maldives. 
  • Having leadership qualities and abilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
