Job Description

  • Perform required month-end activities including reconciliations of COGS and Balance Sheet Accounts, preparation of journal entries according to established closing deadlines
  • Monthly prepare the reconciliation, variance explanations for Equipment Revenue to ensure the reliability of financial data. Provide the equipment margin analyses
  • Understand the Reverse Logistics processes, responsible for reconciling the Return Revaluation Accounts
  • Responsible for Inventory Cost maintenance to ensure the accuracy of inventory valuation, resolve the inventory accounting transactional issues
  • Maintain accuracy of inventory and related to equipment business programs accruals, including Foreign Exchange revaluation. Partner with Accounts Payable and Supply Chain Distribution departments to ensure that all transactions are accounted for
  • Reconcile the business activity programs, including Trade-In, Warranty, Trade-up, etc., and validate the reasonability of payments and reimbursements
  • Reconcile the inventory adjustments to ensure the accuracy of transactional records
  • Prepare monthly documentations based on SOX control requirements
  • Reconcile GOGS transactions while working with Consignment Inventory Model
  • Provide support in Financial and SOX Operational audit activities on a quarterly basis
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, IT and Retail Groups to resolve issues and ensuring transactions are processed through with the correct general ledger accounts
  • Participate in system modification projects with multiple teams and ensures that accurate accounting and valuation of inventory is maintained

Qualifications

  • Inventory, Revenue accounting experience 5+ years in Telecommunication Industry
  • Strong communications (written and verbal) and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Autonomy in project delivery, strong logical and analytical skills
  • Strong reconciliation skills, detail oriented. Ability to work with Large amount of Data
  • Ability to consistently meet deadline and prioritize workload
  • Ability to work overtime at month end and weekends, if required
  • CPA designation required
  • Experience with Oracle, POS systems preferable
