Vichara is a Financial Services focused products and services firm headquartered in NY and building systems for some of the largest i-banks and hedge funds in the world.

The Senior Developer will join the application development team that is responsible for developing and supporting Vichara's proprietary trading applications, quantitative models and analytics framework.

Job Description

• Design and develop the Securities Master and Holdings Master database and data warehouse. Develop the ETL using SSIS and the reporting using powerBI and SSRS
• Design, development, and support of proprietary trading analytics and risk management systems for Vichara and or its clients
• Assist in the development, and support of quantitative modeling.
• Participate in system design and architecture discussions.
• Interface directly with end users to determine system requirements.
• Documentation of systems and processes.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, or related software engineering field.
• Working experience in developing systems for capital markets and asset management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience using C#.NET and power BI
• 3+ years of SQL Server, dynamic query complex query writing and performance tuning
• Experience with Advent Geneva, GWI, Black Mountain, Factset,  Bloomberg API, INTEX API and or other investment management systems preferred.
• Knowledge in Structured Finance Products preferred.
• Working experience with residential mortgage loan databases preferred.

Compensation -   $3000 USD pm
