Job Description

Customer & Credit Analyst is responsible for Global customer set up and Credit functions, such as the creation of customers in ERP & sales systems.  This role will perform credit vetting for new & existing  ViacomCBS partners/customers to ensure they are financially sound to do business with ViacomCBS. The Analyst is part of larger OTC Organization and will work with many groups within OTC, as well as local finance & sales offices spanning across all ViacomCBS Revenue Streams. This role is in the Order to Cash organization based in in Buenos Aires.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Creation of all customers globally (Domestic, LATAM, Europe, Asia, CP) for all revenue streams
  • Daily Maintenance of customers in SAP globally for all revenue streams (modifications, extensions, customer credit records, etc.)
  •  Daily Maintenance of customers in external sales system & share point sites globally for all revenue streams (collecting credit documentations for customer credit records)
  • Key Owner of Global Customer Setup Form – making updates & changes
  • Validation and entry of all customer master requests
  • Assist with Disaster Recovery Testing to ensure systems work remotely as they should in the event of a disaster
  • Training of new employees on customer set up form & process
  • Point person for credit lifts and replacements in Sales & ERP Systems
  • Review Credit Applications from Clients applying for credit and initiate credit cases for ViacomCBS
  • Perform credit investigations and offer credit limit recommendations for ViacomCBS
  • Update Credit Watch reports with negative credit events for various credit reporting
  • Prepare payment trend reports 
  • Maintenance of Tax Documentation (i.e. 6166 forms) on Customer Records
  • Maintaining WHT Rates on Customer records       
  • Monitor accounts & review clients for credit review
  • Send accounts to third party collection agencies
  • Work & Monitor accounts sent to Collection Agencies                
  • Build up customers in the customer master database                                                                 
  • Complete payment & credit reference requests from outside parties                                    
  • Participate in the twice monthly bankruptcy council call                                 
  • Assist the collection team on collection issues such as providing contact info
  • Set up credit files and send applications to outside payment vetting service  
  • Identifying areas of process improvements
  • Update SOP as necessary
  • Backup Credit Team members on credit tasks when necessary

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred but not required
  • Experience in a multi-location company
  • 2+ years experience in an accounts receivable or customer service role
  • Experienced in Microsoft Excel, Word, as well as experience with an accounting system
  • SAP or Oracle experience a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in any other language a plus
