Job Requirements

Education:  High School Diploma or GED required. Two years of college course work is preferred or equivalent knowledge in math, science and computers achieved from work experience and/or on-the-job training.

Experience:  2 years experience in a cGMP regulated industry is preferred. Knowledge of Sap and Inventory Control (basic cycle counting and auditing) procedures preferred. Basic computer skills would be helpful.

Special Knowledge:  Knowledge of FDA Good Manufacturing Practices desired. Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides. Demonstrated computer skills. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks. 

Technical Skills: Ability to operate label rewind equipment. Must possess or be able to obtain a license to operate a golf cart, electric pallet jack, Work Assist Vehicle (WAV) and/or Forklift.

Non-technical Skills: Requires excellent communication and comprehension skills including oral and written. Demonstrate the ability to work closely with others and under pressure to meet deadlines. Ability to see fine printing details such as item numbers on labels. 

Physical Requirements: Medium to heavy work. Standing and walking 79% time on job; Repeated use of hands, upper body, twisting, stooping, bending and kneeling 79%; Lifting up to 50 lbs – 17.5%: Pushing/pulling cart in excess of 350 lbs – 10%; Operate Work Assist Vehicle (WAV) and work at heights of up to 12 ft – 33%; Operate golf cart to deliver label totes – 15%; Communicating (talking and listening_ - 25% of time on job; Seeing objects in fine detail – 60% of time on job. HELPFUL TO THE JOB BUT NOT CRITICAL – Ability to identify colors

Essential Job Junctions

Employee must be able to stage labels and seals for the manufacturing lines on or before scheduled production dates. Must operate rewind equipment to ensure labels are set at the proper direction. Must process returns from manufacturing. Receive labels and seals into inventory from vendor. Perform cycle counts each week. Run SAP RID report to purge obsolete labels. Occasionally process shipments of labels to subcontractors. Must operate golf car, work assist vehicle (WAV) and electric pallet jack and forklift on a daily basis. 

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

Essential functions

1.    Behavior: Exhibit team player qualities of cooperation; professional interaction in all business contacts, all day, every day.

2.    Attendance: Present for work when scheduled is a mandatory function.

3.    Safety: Your compliance with all company safety rules, procedures and guidelines is essential. Reporting of safety issues is mandatory.

4.    Print production schedule/dispatch daily.

5.    Stage and issue labels and seals for packaging and contract packaging suppliers.

6.    Receiving labels: remove labels from pallet, verify label number, amount, batch number and PO number to the packing list. Put labels in location using SAP.

7.    Cycle Count labels periodically.

8.    Operate rewind equipment, golf cart, electric pallet jack, WAV and forklift.

1.    Maintain work area; pick up debris
