Job Description
- Prepare test plans.
- Provide assessment and authorization (A&A) support in the development of security and contingency plans and conducts complex risk and vulnerability assessments.
- Analyze policies and procedures against Federal laws and regulations and provides recommendations for closing gaps.
- Develop and complete system security plans and contingency plans.
- Recommend system enhancements to improve security deficiencies.
- Develop, test, and integrate computer and network security tools.
- Secures system configurations and installs security tools, scans systems in order to determine compliancy and report results, and evaluates products and various aspects of system administration.
- Conduct security program audits and develops solutions to lessen identified risks.
Develop strategies to comply with privacy, risk management, and e-authentication requirements. Provide information assurance support for the development and implementation of security architectures to meet new and evolving security requirements. - Evaluate, develop and enhance security requirements, policy and tools. Provides assistance in computer incident investigations.
- Perform vulnerability assessments including the development of risk mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with IT consultants, cloud solution architects, and cloud engineers in supporting IT strategic goals, roadmaps, and business requirements into future state architectures.
- Contribute a deep understanding of Cloud/Cyber intelligence functions, including traditional analysis and products developed to support Federal customers.
- Additional responsibilities include staffing plan, workflow development, implementing CMMI and ISO best practices across a large, multi-faceted program and developing performance dashboards, conducting market surveys, and introducing new processes, workflows, capabilities, and tools into the customer's environment.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree
- 12+ years of experience managing complex information technology programs and large technical teams supporting defensive Cyber operations.
- Experience in designing, developing, implementing, and enforcing security requirements.
Expertise in preparing Security Test and Evaluation plans. Has provided certification and accreditation support. - Experience in developing security plans and contingency plans. Familiar with developing, testing, and integrating security tools as well as configuring and installing the tools.
- Experience in conducted vulnerability assessments.
- Skilled in conducting security audits and developing mitigations to identified risks.
- Experience with migration applications to AWS/MS Azure specific cloud services.
- Experience in delivering Cloud/Cybersecurity services in a fast-paced Federal Government program, providing support on a 24x7x365 basis.
- Experience with Cloud/Cyber technologies and capabilities, including continuous monitoring, incident response, advance threat hunt, secure Cloud and mobile capabilities, on-going assessment, Network Access Control, and Cyber threat.
- Experience with Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) strategy, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliance, and other Cyber policies.
- Experience in system integration and technical planning.
- 5+ years of recent experience in Cloud and IT transition, transformation, and migration management, preferably with mass migrations technology.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with integrated commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions, including software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings.
- Knowledge of emerging NIST Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) standards.
- Experience maintaining compliance with security requirements and sustaining Authority to Operate (Client) in concert with customer requirements.
- 8+ years of recent experience in Cloud and IT transition, transformation, and migration management, preferably with mass migrations technology.
Clearance: Ability to attain MBI clearance.
