Job Description

  • Provide varying levels of technical direct support for the modernization/migration efforts
  • Develop a draft data architecture and application triage tasks while also developing the ADAT process.
  • Provide Data Architecture development and support.
  • Provide client data and application/system assessment and prioritization (triage) for modernization and migration to the best environment, including Cloud Service Provider (CSP).
  • Apply a repeatable, Agile Software Development and DevSecOps methodologies to perform the modernization/migration efforts.
  • Maintain compliance with all appropriate and applicable cybersecurity regulations and measures as well as track, assess, integrate, and report on modernization and migration processes.
  • Work closely with IT consultants, cloud solution architects and cloud engineers in supporting IT strategic goals, roadmaps, and business requirements into future state architectures.
  • Contribute a deep understanding of Cloud/Cyber intelligence functions, including traditional analysis and products developed to support Federal customers.

Qualifications

Required Education & Work Experience:

  • Requires 16+ years with BS/BA or 14+ years with MS/MA or 10+ years with Ph.D.
  • Experience managing and supporting system requirements analysis, design, and development activities.
  • Expertise in performing engineering analysis and issue resolution.
  • Analyze and develop CONOPs, system architectures, and requirements.
  • Develop specifications, drawings, and other engineering artifacts.
  • Experience supporting process engineering and optimization activities.
  • Mentor mid-level and junior staff.
  • Experience with migration applications to AWS/MS Azure specific cloud services.
  • Experience delivering Cloud/Cybersecurity services in a fast-paced Federal Government program, providing support on a 24x7x365 basis.
  • Experience with Cloud/Cyber technologies and capabilities, including continuous monitoring, incident response, advance threat hunt, secure Cloud and mobile capabilities, on-going assessment, Network Access Control, and Cyber threat.
  • Experience with Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) strategy, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliance, and other Cyber policies.
  • Experience in system integration and technical planning.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • AWS/MS Azure Certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing integrated commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions, including software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, Agile Software Development experience, and familiarity with the client Data and Application Triage (ADAT) process.
  • 14+ years of recent experience in Cloud and IT transition, transformation, and migration management, preferably with mass migrations technology.
  • Experience managing and maintaining application code in an active portfolio.
  • Knowledge of emerging NIST Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) standards.
  • Experience maintaining compliance with security requirements and sustaining Authority to Operate (Client) in concert with customer requirements.
