Job Description

As our Lifecycle Marketer at Verto, you will work with our members to grow their engagement using scalable omnichannel marketing. You will run marketing campaigns and support go-to-market sprints end-to-end; from creative development to implementation and analysis. As part of our small marketing team, you will work cross-functionally with all of our team members to provide leverage and reach ambitious growth targets.

The successful candidate for this role will build strategy across our owned channels (email, in-app notifications, push notifications, website, etc.) as well as execute on their creative ideas. 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Create and execute marketing programs to drive growth and engagement in a cohesive manner using data-driven approaches involving testing and ongoing optimization
  • Conceive and implement integrated marketing programs to drive critical KPIs
  • Use user journeys, segmentation, and insights to develop contextual and targeted marketing programs
  • Be a champion and advocate of the Verto brand, ensuring adherence to brand standards in all marketing materials
  • Fluently weave together an omnichannel strategy - across email marketing, push notifications, in-app messaging, SMS marketing, etc. 
  • Build copy and graphics for campaigns
  • Omnichannel marketing, Business and Analytics skills to be a well-oiled machine that is constantly experimenting, A/B-testing, and optimizing the marketing funnel
  • Build and maintain process documentation, establish best practices, and execute acquisition and lifecycle marketing operations
  • Proactively identify gaps in process, propose solutions, and ultimately, improve efficiency
  • Keep a pulse on the competitive landscape; stay current with competitive intelligence (offers, existing client communications, etc.) from direct and indirect competitors
  • Work closely with Analytics and Business Intelligence to monitor and analyze performance

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience as a Lifecycle Marketer at a start-up or early-stage company is preferred. 
  • A multi-year track record with omnimarketing automation technology (Braze, Amplitude, Branch, Segment CDP, etc.)
  • experience using creative software (e.g. Adobe suite) and with basic web/ landing pages (eg. HTML, CSS, Wordpress, etc.)
  • A thoughtful, critical thinker who follows and systematic and rigorous approach to problem-solving
  • Scrappy and has the willingness to learn. Executing quickly to allow for continual iteration and experimentation are core principles on our team.
  • Shipped end-to-end messaging campaigns and scaled programs. You incept an idea, see it all the way through to implementation and learn how to improve on it next.
  • An understanding of key elements of acquisition, activation, engagement and retention strategies, including customer journeys, lifecycle marketing (CRM), marketing automation and the metrics impacted.
  • Able to digest ambiguous data sets and environments, communicate critical insights, and ask the right questions due to your robust analytical skillset.
