Job Description

Job Title: REVERSE OSMOSIS TECHNICIAN 

Should have WATER TREATMENT experience, UTILITIES experience, working in a PLANT experience. 

The Reverse Osmosis Technician will perform ISO quality control procedures on all Reverse Osmosis and Ultra-Filtration mobile equipment prior to being dispatched to customers. This includes (but not limited to) any general repairs, membrane removal/loading, calibrations and clean-up of all mobile RO and UF trailers that come thru the facility as directed by supervisor. 
• Performs repairs on pipe, meters, pumps where needed. Ability to troubleshoot problems as they arise. 
• Able to load and unload membranes on RO equipment. 
• Maintains QC documentation for all equipment. 
• Follow good housekeeping practices by keeping maintenance and tool storage area neat and clean as well as timely cleanup of work area after each job is completed 
• Practices good safety procedures, in order to keep self and others injury free. Follows EHS policies and procedures. 
• Is available for emergency on call and overtime where needed to meet customer demand. 
• Available to work on a rotating shift of nights and days. 
• Operates a fork lift. 

Qualifications/Requirements:
• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent. 

• ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: 
• Ability and willingness to perform physical duties such as lifting, climbing, 
• Ability and willingness to work confined space entry 
• Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities 
• Ability and willingness to read documents and implement such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals 
• Ability to handle and lift 50 lbs. 
• Ability and willingness for on call status for emergency response 
• Ability and willingness to travel for field assistance if needed. 
• Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record history 

Desired Characteristics:
• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent. 
• Ability to apply to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form 
• Trade school experience for electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or mechanical repair is highly desired 
• Electrical Certification 
• Positive displacements pump repair experience 
• Motor Controls experience 
• Electrical panel board experience 
• Computer proficient 
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
• Initiative 
• Problem solving skills 
• Reliable and thorough 
• Accountable
