Job Description

Role Summary

The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the Salesforce platform. This role works closely with business stakeholders to ensure Salesforce supports business processes effectively and drives productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Administration

  • 5+ Years of relevant experience
  • Manage Salesforce users, roles, profiles, and permission sets
  • Configure and maintain objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules
  • Handle data management (imports, exports, data cleansing)

Configuration & Customization

  • Create workflows, process builder flows, and automation
  • Build custom reports and dashboards
  • Customize Salesforce to meet business needs without coding

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards
  • Provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Ensure data quality and data integrity

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work with business teams to gather requirements
  • Translate business needs into Salesforce solutions
  • Provide training and end-user support

Security & Compliance

  • Maintain data security and access controls
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and data standards

System Enhancements

  • Evaluate new Salesforce features/releases
  • Implement improvements to optimize performance
  • Support integrations with other systems

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of Salesforce administration experience

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (mandatory in most roles)
  • Advanced Administrator (optional but valuable)

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities
  • Experience with:
    • Flow Builder / Process Automation
    • Reports & Dashboards
    • Data Loader / Data Management tools

Soft Skills

  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Attention to detail and organization

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of Apex, SOQL, or basic development concepts
  • Experience with integrations (APIs, middleware)
  • Familiarity with Sales Cloud / Service Cloud
