Job Description

The ARCS Architect will lead the end-to-end architecture, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS) for banking operations. The role ensures automated, auditable, and compliant reconciliations across GL, sub-ledgers, and banking product systems, driving close-cycle efficiency and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect ARCS solution covering profiles, formats, rules, workflows, certification levels, variances, and matching logic.
  • Lead discovery, design, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, and hypercare.
  • Define data and integration strategy across ERP/GL, Core Banking, Treasury, Cards, Payments, EDW/Data Lake, and FCCS.
  • Design controls aligned to SOX/IFC, RBI guidelines, and internal audit expectations.
  • Build automation strategy including auto-certification, high-volume matching rules, and exception analytics.
  • Lead governance: design board reviews, change control, release management, and documentation.
  • Drive performance optimization, user adoption, and training across Finance Ops and Shared Services.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) — Mandatory.
  • 8–12+ years in Finance/Controls/EPM with 5+ years in ARCS implementations.
  • Must have implemented ARCS in at least two banks with multi-entity and high-volume operations.
  • Strong understanding of banking reconciliations (CASA, loans, cards, treasury, payments).
  • Expertise in ARCS (profiles, formats, rules, data loads, automation, security).
  • Strong data/integration experience with ETL/ELT, APIs, and large-volume datasets.
  • Technical Skills
  • ARCS: Reconciliation types, formats, mappings, automation, workflows, matching.
  • Data: SQL, ETL pipelines, data quality checks, staging strategies.
  • EPM Suite: FCCS, EDMCS, Data Management.
  • Security: Role-based access, SoD, audit alignment.
