Job Description
Version 1 is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Head of Partner Marketing and Events to lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives across our partner ecosystem. This role will also oversee the planning and delivery of high-impact partner marketing campaigns and events that elevate our brand, deepen partner relationships, and drive pipeline growth.
You’ll be responsible for crafting joint go-to-market strategies with key technology partners (e.g. Microsoft, AWS, Oracle), managing co-branded campaigns, and delivering a world-class event programme that supports our mission to become a €1bn digital transformation leader.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Marketing
- Develop and execute integrated partner marketing plans aligned to Version 1’s Strategic Initiatives and GTM priorities
- Build strong relationships with partner stakeholders to co-create campaigns, content, and joint value propositions
- Manage MDF (Market Development Funds) and ensure ROI-driven use of partner budgets
- Track and report on partner campaign and event performance, pipeline contribution, and brand impact
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Alliance teams to align messaging and drive partner-led growth
Events Strategy and Execution
- Own the end-to-end event strategy, including flagship conferences, executive roundtables, webinars, and partner co-hosted events
- Lead event planning, logistics, vendor management, and post-event reporting
- Ensure events are aligned to strategic goals, audience needs, and brand standards
- Innovate with new formats and experiences to increase engagement and commercial impact
- Manage event budgets and deliver measurable ROI
Qualifications
Essential:
- 7+ years in B2B marketing, with a strong focus on partner marketing and event leadership, preferable in the technology field
- Proven success in managing strategic technology partnerships and joint GTM partner marketing campaigns
- Experience delivering high-profile events across multiple formats and geographies
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to link marketing activity to pipeline and revenue
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience in the IT services, cloud, or digital transformation sectors
- Familiarity with partner ecosystems (Microsoft, AWS, Oracle)
- Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g. Dynamics, Hubspot)
