Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dot Net Tech Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legacy .NET MVC, .NET Core, Razor Pages, JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS, and Angular. This role requires a deep understanding of modernisation techniques and the ability to manage blended teams effectively within an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and maintenance of web applications using legacy .NET MVC, .NET Core, and Razor Pages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement modernisation strategies for existing applications.
  • Develop and maintain front-end components using JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS, and Angular.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a blended team of developers, ensuring best practices and high-quality code standards.
  • Drive agile methodologies within the team, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of applications.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the team's capabilities.
  • Deliver high accuracy estimations for project timelines and resource requirements.
  • Utilize Jira for tasks and sprint management to ensure efficient workflow and project tracking.
  • Implement DevOps concepts to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Work with Docker and Kubernetes to manage containerized applications and ensure scalability and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Dot Net Tech Lead or similar role.
  • Strong expertise in legacy .NET MVC, .NET Core, Razor Pages, JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS, and Angular.
  • Demonstrated experience in modernising legacy applications and implementing new technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a blended team.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies and practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.
