Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Empowered People

  • People management e.g. 1:1s, performance reviews, career development, mentoring etc
  • Assuring the quality of your team’s delivery, implementing corrective measures as needed  
  • Team resourcing, working in collaboration with wider SRG Management team
  • Team recruitment, working in collaboration with wider SRG Management team
  • Influencing positive quarterly Trust & Empowerment scores for your team

Customer Success

  • Work with Delivery Manager(s) / Portfolio Director(s) / Customer Success Manager / Practice Head as appropriate to agree strategy for assigned accounts 
  • Input to service design and support for service implementation using Microsoft technologies (Dynamics, .Net, Power Platform, Sharepoint and other, as appropriate)
  • Maintain standards for ISO20000 compliance & best practices across the team
  • Manage customer escalations, issues, problems, and requirements 
  • Identify and progress the Continual Service Improvement initiative
  • Manage business risk and knowledge to ensure business continuity
  • Achieve targets and improvement initiatives for customer satisfaction
  • Drive and assure Knowledge Management creation and maintenance across your team
  • Managing priority cases with Microsoft (i.e. escalating to Microsoft)

Strong Organisation  

  • Explore and drive opportunities within existing customers for new/ additional work
  • Scoping out work in a pre-sales engagement with our customers to understand what we can deliver using the wide Microsoft tech stack experience that the team possesses
  • Work with sales to develop new opportunities both with new and existing customers
  • On the ground technical support / delivery using available capacity

Qualifications

Technical Skills

  1. Microsoft Ecosystem Expertise: Deep understanding of the Microsoft stack, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and other Microsoft technologies. Successful candidate will have a technical background in at least one Microsoft technology.
     
  2. Application Development: Proficiency in developing applications using Microsoft tools and frameworks such as .NET, Visual Studio, and Power Platform.
     
  3. Cloud Security and Compliance: Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards within the Microsoft cloud environment.
     
  4. Automation and Scripting: Skills in automation tools and scripting languages like PowerShell and Azure DevOps to streamline operations
    .
  5. DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and containerization using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Managerial Skills

  1. Team Leadership: Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide your team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
     
  2. Strategic Planning: Capability to align Microsoft technology strategies with business goals, ensuring that initiatives support overall organizational objectives.
     
  3. Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure smooth operations.
     
  4. Issue Resolution: Ability to identify and remediate issues and escalations quickly and effectively, with mitigation measures identified and implemented to future-proof against similar recurrences.
     
  5. Relationship building: Ability to foster strong relationships across both the SRG management team and wider Version 1 business
