Job Description
- Work with customers and Version 1 colleagues delivering high quality solutions on the Microsoft Cloud platform.
- You will be developing architecture within Microsoft Azure and M365 across multiple technologies such as Entra, Azure Virtual Desktop and Intune depending on the client needs. Engage with customers to understand requirements and identify solutions and opportunities.
- You will be using cutting edge technology and innovative ways of working including Agile and Waterfall.
- You will need to produce and contribute to high quality documentation.
- You will be expected to work aligned to Version 1’s Core Values and contribute to the continual evolution and growth of our teams and culture.
Qualifications
- Direct experience of enterprise solution shaping, Microsoft Azure Cloud deployment and M365 configuration including excellent documentation skills.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and its relevant build, deployment, automation, networking, and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Experience in delivering Azure solutions that are highly available, high performing, and secure.
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such as Entra ID, Conditional Access, Entra ID App Proxy, SAML and Active Directory Domain Services.
- Strong knowledge of endpoint management with toolsets such as Intune/SCCM, including Autopilot, configuration and compliance and endpoint analytics.
- Be passionate about continual learning and development to keep track of emerging technology.
- Have strong communication and documentation skills, being able to contribute to technical designs, identify issues and resolutions, communicating to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ideally you will also have:
- Experience working with Cloud native solutions and services
- Experience using DevOps and IaC tooling
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies
- Have good commercial awareness and be able to articulate the commercial impacts of technical challenges and opportunities
- Knowledge of PowerShell, Terraform, Bicep and deployment automation.
- Knowledge of Citrix Cloud, Horizon cloud or AWS Workspaces
- Knowledge of Security and compliance measures within Azure and M365
- Knowledge of backup and recovery methodologies for Azure and M365

Location: This role can be delivered in a hybrid nature from one of these offices Dublin, Belfast, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh or London.
