Job Description

Version 1 requires a highly skilled Data Scientist who can provide expertise particularly in the pensions and payroll domain. The Data Scientist will assess current pensions and payroll data and processes and assist in developing new products and improving the existing processes and programs for our client. The Primary purpose of the Data Scientist role is to provide expertise in the area of data analysis and data design. 

Technical Skills:

  • Experience in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or other quantitative fields.
  • Detailed and relevant expertise using data visualisation tools to present data insights to non-technical audiences ensuring that they can successfully interpret complex data insights easily.
  • Advanced SQL, ETL, BI, Reporting knowledge and experience working a variety of databases including Oracle
  • Hands-on experience in extracting data from various data sources and building complex data models.
  • Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, data sets and performing analysis on data from a variety of sources.
  • Understanding of pension modelling, calculations and experience working in the pension and payroll domains is a distinct advantage.
  • Extensive understanding of the capabilities of AI and proven ability to leverage AI to provide innovative solutions. 

Qualifications

Level 8 or higher NFQ qualification in in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or related field
