Oracle Cloud (ERP, HCM, EPM) Delivery Director (Financial Services) - Remote
REMOTE BASED – CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE IN IRELAND
Would you like the opportunity to oversee and drive forward a portfolio within Oracle Cloud (ERP, HCM, ERP), with the role growing into Practice Head and then Managing Director?

Oracle Delivery Director
Job Description
You will be overseeing a team of over 80 consultants within the Oracle Cloud Applications practice, to deliver a portfolio of circa £/€8m project services in the Financial Services sector.
You will be reporting to the Oracle Cloud Applications Practice Head, and you will oversee a team of senior colleagues across the delivery and commercial roles.
This is a senior role in Version 1, with opportunity for you to further progress into senior practice leadership roles across Version1.
In this role you will have full ownership for the P&L of the portfolio and as such, you will likely have held portfolio or programme management roles in the past with responsibility for budgets in the region of £/€500k to £/€3m, or beyond.
You will have experience in delivering Customer First outcomes and will understand the challenges in delivering transformational change involving Finance and HR systems.
Skills such as the ability to inspire and drive teams, commercial acumen, ability to ask tough questions, curiosity, and willingness to learn are regarded as more important in this role than a deep understanding of Oracle ERP, EPM or HCM.
You will be seen as central in the shaping and delivery of key proposals and will be recognised by customers and colleagues as a leader who can bring together the right group of people to deliver the right solution.
Qualifications
- You will have expertise in overseeing a team, in managing and growing a portfolio of projects/customers.
- You will be passionate about defining and developing solutions which meet customer challenges.
- In addition, you will understand the commercial balance required to deliver these solutions between top and bottom-line growth.
- You’ll enjoy customer engagement and be comfortable with balancing multiple competing demands.
- Furthermore, you will be overseeing and developing a diverse and highly talented team and promoting and inspiring our core values right across the delivery team.
Role Requirements:
The role will be divided across three areas of responsibility – Customer Delivery, Commercial Growth and People Leadership.
Customer Delivery
- You will have full accountability for the delivery of end-to-end Customer engagements ensuring our customer is at the heart of everything we do.
- We understand their ways of working and that we deliver successfully for them.
- You will likely spend a considerable amount of time engaged in Customer forums (e.g., Steering Groups etc) and travel to Customer sites from time to time.
Commercial Growth
- You will work closely with Commercial colleagues to build and support compelling proposals and customer offerings.
- In addition, these will enable and support our continued growth ambition for the practice and deliver profitable outcomes.
- You’ll have your own P&L and be accountable for that.
People Leadership
- You will lead a team of diverse professionals across our ERP, EPM and HCM teams located across the UK, Ireland, and India.
- You will ensure that we continue to have world class levels of engagement and that we are ensuring that our teams deliver excellently through the use of our methodologies and accelerators.
- Furthermore, ensuring they are suitably skilled and informed in line with the continuously changing nature of Oracle Fusion Cloud products.
