Job Description
We are looking for a self-motivated Senior Oracle Analytics and Integration Consultant with excellent communication and customer skills. You will have experience with several end-to-end Oracle OAC, OAS, OBIEE, ODI projects on-premises and in the cloud.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Take the lead role in proposing the Analytics and Integration architecture for Oracle solutions that often combine EPM, Analytics and Data Integration components.
- Establish best practices and standard reference architectures for common integration scenarios.
- Progress solutions through the build and test phases, allocate work to junior team members if leading a build team
- Advise Project Managers from Version 1 and the Client on approach to build, and help track projects through the various phases
- Help the commercial team on solution design and architecture best practice for sales ideas
- Contribute to the Tech and Analytics Practice, including working with Oracle, beta programmes, Proof of Concepts, Research into new Analytics Technology areas.
Job Description Specifics:
- Undertaking the delivery of best practice Analytics solutions that meet the highest standards of performance, durability, scalability and flexibility
- Assist in activities to understand client needs and objectives and present appropriate solutions in the forms of client meetings, presentations, proposals or product demonstrations
- Assist in the creation of initial estimates for customer proposals
- Take a leadership role in delivering critical Analytics, integration, and Warehouse tasks, such as requirements gathering, design, prototype, development and training
- Proactively and efficiently work on assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of assigned project(s), including customer expectations management, delivery following Version 1 Project Delivery processes, systems and standards.
- Work with the Project Office to ensure customer billing is correct, expense reconciliations are completed, and customer collections are optimised
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, meet standards and are appropriately shared.
- Proactively work closely with all relevant internal and client stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of assigned project(s).
- Proactively and frequently communicate with customers to build and maintain a solid working relationship that encourages future business for the company.
Qualifications
- You must be highly competent in Oracle OBIEE/OAC/OAS technology, with at least seven years of experience in end-to-end implementations using these technologies
- An integration speciality such as ODI / OIC is also required, including the ability to architect, design and build integrations including techniques for CDC and managing data change through the layers of a Data Warehouse
- Knowledge of integration frameworks offered by Oracle SaaS applications would be useful.
- Strong understanding of integration adapters, usage of REST APIs, is important.
- Knowledge of Oracle Essbase or Oracle EPM technologies would put you at an advantage
- Fluency in SQL would be an advantage, as would Python
- Data modelling, and the ability to design and extend warehouses is required.
- Should have a strong understanding of OCI components & capabilities.
- Provide technical expertise, guidelines, and leadership in the development and implementation of integration solutions.
- Exhibit exceptional technical problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or in a team-oriented manner.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and oral) to convey technical solutions to stakeholders.
