The position will help support trade analysis, PNL attribution and reconciliation, risk management and reporting, and product control systems.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the technical vision and strategic planning of all aspects of software solutions for the Capital Market business. This includes both in-house and external applications.

You will work as a part of a team involved in mission-critical projects and provides the technical expertise for our development environment, technology architecture, and implementation.

Here you will also partner with the business users and analysts to ensure the applications meet users' specification and requirements.

• 10+ years of professional work experience involving software development, systems implementation, and the ability to design/architect software solutions.
• Proficient in C#/.Net development and scripting languages such as Python and experience in multi-tier application design and development
• Prior software development experience with C/C++ would be very helpful
• Strong background in building enterprise-wide software solutions in multi-technology environments and a solid understanding of the impact of changes on the environment
• Familiarity with database concepts, relational SQL, and No-SQL as a plus
• Prior experience working in financial services and fixed income business/product knowledge would be helpful
• Having the ability to articulate points and provide summaries and explanations of technical concepts
• Prior experience working in financial services and fixed income business/product knowledge would be helpful
• Prior experience/familiarity with mathematical concepts, e.g. analysis, linear algebra, calculus, statistics, and probability would be a plus
• Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and troubleshooting potential system issues to process a solution
• Ability to build a network of relationships across the organization, obtain a detailed understanding of internal clients’ needs and drive organization wide design concepts gaining buy in and support of stakeholders
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science from a top-tier computer science program (or equivalent).
