Job Description

This role is a hybrid role working 1-2 days a week out of our offices in Dublin, Ireland within our internal IT Team. Being a member of this team will afford great opportunity for the successful candidate to gain excellent exposure and experience in many areas of technology.

A position is open for an individual to manage the large number of requests we receive to provide hardware to starters; retrieve leavers hardware & replace kit through normal attrition. Imaging laptops using the latest networking technologies will be central to this role. The role requires an individual with a keen interest in IT and an ability to learn new technologies. Although the individual will be highly tasked by the work above; where time permits you will be involved in general IT support-based queries also. As an internally facing department tasked with the support of more than 2200 people there is plenty of room for the right individual to learn and develop.

 

Qualifications

You should be a self-starter looking to join a fast paced, multidiscipline team that provides internal and project support at Version 1. The successful candidate should

  • Have excellent troubleshooting skills coupled with excellent customer service skills
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Can multitask and prioritise duties
  • Ability to work well in a cross-team environment Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. As an ISO certified company your ability to demonstrate the above is vital

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

  • An interest in diagnosing and repairing hardware and software faults in laptops
  • Ability to work by yourself and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to document processes and procedures where necessary
  • Understanding and interest in Windows 10 OS and general IT
  • Understanding and interest in cloud technologies beneficial
  • Strong process-oriented experience in terms of implementation and completion
  • Experience in ITIL oriented environment
