Job Description

We are looking for talented developers with 8+ years of experience in Java, who would enjoy being part of a small team. We encourage interest from enthusiastic people with an aim for a fast track career in a high energy environment where there is good exposure to cutting-edge technologies.

You will be working on a significant internal project central to the company’s operations. The system is being used daily by over two thousand people and utilizes top technologies.

Project methodologies would include Scrum Agile

Qualifications

Required skills and experience:

  • Java 8
  • Spring - MVC, Security, Boot & Integration
  • Cloud - Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Testing - Junit & Integration
  • Version Control Systems - GIT
  • RESTful APIs, JMS
  • Front-End development experience using HTML5, JavaScript and JavaScript Frameworks (AngularJS), CSS/LESS.
  • Databases - Relational DB, Oracle preferable

 

Experience in the following is considered an advantage:

  • Persistence Frameworks like Hibernate
  • Build tools: Maven
  • Application Servers like Tomcat
  • AWS: DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, EC2 and Autoscaling
  • Build systems: Ansible, Nexus, Jenkins, Docker or DevOps
  • Experience of working within an Agile environment is desirable.
