Job Description

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan & execute the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases across the enterprise for multiple applications across various environments. 
    • Supporting CI/CD pipelines for the applications
    • Implement DevOps best practices
    • Liaise with 3rd party vendors for the provisions of servers & services.
    • Supporting Development & Test teams on building, testing & deploying applications.
    • Troubleshooting environmental issues & support.
    • Responsible for implementing and managing release processes for code through development, test, and production environments.
    • Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists

    Although the role is advertised for Dublin, this role can be fully based remotely in Ireland

    Qualifications

     

    • Minimum 1 year or above experience in the release manager role or similar
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
    • Java  & SQL Development experience
    • Working knowledge of Webservices
    • Basic understanding of Cobol, UNIX, SQL, XML, Mule, and Weblogic
    • Git or related SCM experience
    • Experience working in an Agile environment and thinking in terms of sprints.
