Job Description

What You Will Do

We are looking for a very Senior Oracle ERP support manager to join us and help us drive and lead our process for managing and integrating important parts of our business through our ERP Managed Services Practice.

We want you to embrace and reimagine the potential of our customers Oracle E-business suite using and driving our new ASPIRE framework.  We want you to drive a team and go beyond simply ‘keeping the lights on’ and embrace the potential of Version 1’s ASPIRE Oracle E-Business Suite Managed Services that place continuous improvement and business innovation at the heart of everything we do.

Be involved in a range of responsibilities from pre-sales through to delivery – having full visibility and support of the lifecycle.

Play a leading role in understanding the needs of the customer, to address customer challenges and understand the commercial balance required to nurture a growing element of our organisation.

All of this will be done with the support and collaboration of our Oracle Applications Team - working with senior colleagues across the delivery and commercial sides of the Practice, and guided leadership of the Portfolio Director ERP Support Oracle Applications.

Some of your role responsibilities will include:

Managing ERP Managed Services Practice operations daily alongside ERP Location Practice Managers to deliver a proactive Managed Service to our customers.

Accountable for stakeholder support internally and externally - customer satisfaction, budget and additional revenue generation.

Act as point of contact internally and externally to escalate issues including recommending and implementing remediation plans to improve customer satisfaction where appropriate.

Manage staff engagement for teams across projects within ERP Managed Services Practice.

Promotion of Version 1 brand within portfolio customers and across the wider market.

Resource planning including mobilisations, rotations and new hires.

Visible and effective champion of Version 1 Core Values.

Prepare tenders and deliver customer presentations.

Conduct customer contract reviews and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Contribute to strategy & innovation planning for our next generation of Managed Services to include being at the forefront of value-add initiatives.

Qualifications

What will make you succeed in this role

·       Strong experience within Oracle Applications (for example, E-Business Suite, SaaS ERP and HCM)

·       Have an understanding and willingness to learn about our business models, operating models, financial models, budgeting processes and risk management

·       Want to operate in a leadership capacity to help develop and guide the team around you

·       Enjoy working with customers and/or system integrators in a Tech capacity

·       Be able to work with Senior Stakeholders with good communication skills

·       Enjoy the thrill of project management, multi-tasking and helping cultivate an environment of efficient and effective problem-solving

This is a full-time permanent role with travel (when possible). Expenses will be covered.  UK or Ireland base but all Remote working / or hybrid if preferred.
