    Job Description

    For Technical Support a person is expected to have a good understanding of the design & build phase of the project lifecycle.

    • Debugging to identify the root cause of issues. 
    • Identifying fixes and raising SIRS. 
    • Analysing outputs. 
    • Monitoring Live Systems. 
    • Reporting to team leads and management 
    • Coding enhancements or bug fixes as required 
    • Unit testing of code, and integration testing where appropriate 
    • Ensuring code is peer reviewed 
    • Providing test support when code is migrated to System Test (including SIR resolution) 

    Qualifications

     

    • Experience working in standards driven environments. 
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Analytical and problem solving

    Other knowledge an individual in a Technical Support role will be expected to acquire includes:

    • Architecture & data sources
    • Application Support processes & procedures 
    • Status reporting and risk/issue management
