Job Description

This a perfect role for a committed, energetic and detail oriented individual looking to create a real value add, who wants to work in a rewarding but fast paced and challenging environment.

The role offers opportunity to learn and understand the operational side of the business in a leading IT consultancy company. The role requires a high degree of attention to detail, adherence to processes for budget and employee cycles, as well as someone who will look to improve efficiency.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Update of the financial forecasting system and making sure it reflects latest changes before end of month
  • Preparing reports and financial reconciliations required
  • Administration of timesheets unlocking process
  • Support to Division Head and Portfolio Directors General administration responsibilities in the areas of expenses, travel arrangements and events planning
  • Collaborating with HR & Finance departments to ensure project adherence to corporate policies and procedures

Qualifications

 

Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills
  • Ability to prioritize entrusted tasks and work to deadlines
  • Have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Have strong computer skills
  • Familiarity with financials would be an advantage
  • Access to sensitive data – so discretion is also a key skill

 

Sample Duties:

  • Ensure that all business operational data and reports are maintained and delivered on time and to excellent quality.
  • Follow already existing processes and be willing to suggest/implement any improvements that would positively affect efficiency.
  • Supporting all stages of employee cycles.

 

  • Working on forecast updates. Making sure you get updates on time – follow deadlines.
  • Managing timesheets process – making sure that timesheets are completed, following on with people that are on the overdue list, assistance with end of month timesheets processing – invoicing.
  • Producing reports – both within Version 1 and for our clients
  • Looking at different business key performance indicators and highlighting where we are falling below expected numbers
