Job Description

Version 1 has won a major piece of work with a new client, this project will be supporting the internal IT projects for a world-leading Investment Management business. This is a new opportunity to work within a client Scrum Team. You will be working in a Scrum Team of cross-functional skills in tight collaboration practising Agile. Making real decisions about technology to create maintainable solutions for our customer and participating in a highly collaborative group of software engineering professional’s.

You will develop software to meet our client's user needs using C#/.Net on the Microsoft Azure Cloud, follow best practice guidelines and help to improve those guidelines. You will be creating best in class documentation with our client users in mind.

Qualifications

Essential criteria:

  • Either Java or C# (doesn't need to know both but must be comfortable in quickly picking up skills and learning a new language)
  • Cloud experience preferrable
  • Agile experience
  • DevOps knowledge
  • At least 5 years SDLC experience
  • Preferably has knowledge of following architectures: Serverless, Microservices, Containers
  • Full stack a bonus

Preferred criteria:

  • Customer-facing experience in a professional environment
  • Cloud application or Cloud solutions development experience
  • Experience of working in a Scrum Team and an Agile environment
  • Experience in UI
