This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Solutions Architect. A permanent position, you will join a team delivering transformative data analytics solutions to a number of Version 1 customers.

We are seeking someone who can create and deliver a BI vision with customers across many sectors. You will be highly proficient working with business stakeholders and directing project teams and will have direct experience of a range of BI Tools and Platforms.

You will ideally have at least 7 years’ experience and a proven track record architecting enterprise-level data visualisation platforms. You will manage your own and your team’s performance to deliver high quality, highly performant solutions to our customer.

If you have demonstrated your ability to apply technical standards and best practices in designing data visualisation solutions, using tools such as Power BI, Looker, Qlik, Tableau; we want you to join our team. 

In addition, you will be paramount to growing Version 1’s BI & Data Visualisation capability with appropriate skills and experience to deliver high-quality services to Version1 customers. Defining & documenting reference architectures, solution design patterns, solution accelerators for use in BI & Analytics. Contributing to Sales & Pre-sales activities including proposals, demonstrations & proof of concept projects. Line Management within your domain to build and sustain a high-performance

• Experience in designing and implementing large scale data visualisation solutions using Power BI, Looker, Tableau, Qlik or other related technologies.
• Direct experience of solution shaping and architecture development during pre-sales & delivery including excellent documentation skills.
• Hands on experience working with solutions using the Azure Data Analytics platform including Azure Databricks, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Search
• Experience working in a Dev/Ops environment with tools such as Chef, Puppet or Terraform
• Experience of motivating and managing team performance in delivering to agreed timelines
