Our UK Digital, Data and Cloud team (UKDDC for short) are looking for AWS Architect professionals who want to provide their thought leadership and help deliver a variety of AWS Product Specialties to our customers.

We are growing at pace and we are looking to build up our pipeline of AWS Architects for future projects.

Job Description

You will be working in our AWS Practice which consists of some of the best Architects, DevOps Engineers and Consultants.

Customer engagements are varied and exposure to cutting-edge technologies is always present.

You will work in a mixture of teams to deliver solutions to some of the most high-profile customers. 

As an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Architect, you'll actively be implementing and supporting large-scale cloud implementations on Amazon AWS.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Architecting and implementing cloud solutions for different applications, automating cloud operations and cloud deployments
  • Work closely with business leads and product owners to understand solution requirements and identify architectural patterns
  • Work closely with lead architects and engineers to create and maintain architectural templates and build/operational artefacts
  • Research and propose solutions for AWS data transformation, data connections, operational frameworks, and application integration
  • Work with DevOps, and engineering teams to develop solutions and use your expertise to provide thought leadership 

Qualifications

Essential criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience as an AWS Architect
  • Confident of your knowledge of the AWS Well Architected Framework
  • Linux (RHEL, Centos) and Bash
  • Understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps methodologies and practices 
  •  Resided in the UK over 5 years to be SC Eligible (Security Clearance) or hold current security clearance
