An exciting new opportunity for a driven, self-starting experienced Oracle Developer to work on our SAM service platform as part of our Software Asset Management practice. Delivering on our core-values of Excellence and Drive you will work with our platform architect and customers to deliver our vision of a next-gen SAM service platform.

As part of our practice growth plan, we have an exciting new role for an experienced Oracle Developer to work on our SAM service platform as part of our Software Asset Management practice. You will work with our platform architect and customers to consult on the design and delivery of our enterprise SAM enablement platform and custom integration projects. Primary development technologies are currently PL/SQL, Oracle Forms & Apex.

You will have lead responsibility for Designing and developing new features, maintaining existing features and re-factoring deprecated/updated features. Maintenance, and control of our PL/SQL library. Maintain and re-factor Oracle Forms UI (to 12c). Design & develop next-gen APEX UI for a later platform release. Additional opportunities to desig, develop and enhance existing consultancy accelerator library and applications used elsewhere within the practice.

You will be a primary contributor to the technology and platform decision process for our next-gen SAM service platform.

We are looking for a Senior Oracle developer with a minimum:

• 5 years technical experience in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms
• 2 years experience with Oracle Apex
• Good knowledge of Oracle database 11g and above
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience in working on Agile projects
• What other attributes will I need to be successful?
• Self-starter. Can take on assignments, driving through contacting the appropriate parties to get them done and escalate when progress is impeded
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Previous consultancy experience a distinct advantage
• Experience of working effectively within a team
