We're looking for a skilled technical project manager / delivery manager to help us manage and deliver important data projects related to data integration and Cloud.

The role includes:
- Project planning - define activities, resources, sizing, timescales, milestones, dependencies/contingencies and acceptance criteria
- Project implementation - help coordinate logistics, organize tasks, keep the team on task and on time
- Assess the impact on the project of any proposed changes.
- Process improvement - implement & improve processes
- Reporting - update the senior leadership team regarding progress of the project
- Portfolio management - mature the scoping of future projects in order to transition from one to the next.

The team uses Atlassian (Jira & Confluence), and the primary coding language is Python.

This is a temporary/contractor role covering these two projects, but may be reviewed if other projects arise that require a similar skillset.

The ideal candidate must have:

- A project management qualification

- strong organisational skills
- excellent communication skills
- experience of agile teams.
- have a track record of successful delivery of complex data and / or software projects.
- have a robust understanding of technical concepts that underpin data and software development.
