We’re looking for an experienced Python Developer to join a talented and diverse team that is focused on creating a very exciting product.

We’re building a brand new and innovative solution that involves processing large volumes of data from various sources, and automatically constructing large knowledge graphs using clever pipelines that integrate and enrich our data. Our product comes in both SaaS and DaaS flavours that offers our clients highly valuable insights about their supply chains.

You’ll be using your full-stack Python skillset which may involve extensive use of Python for building and integrating middle layer APIs, databases, and front-end interfaces. You’ll also be working closely with our CTO and Head of Product to feed back into the requirements capture and speccing process - to ensure that they maximise the effectiveness of each sprint. 

This is a pivotal role in our team. The recent global supply chain issues have increased demand for Versed AI’s data, accelerated our product roadmap and doubled the size of our development team in the last 6 months. We’re looking for someone with practical experience building either: SaaS, DaaS, databases and APIs to help build a game-changing product for our customers. We expect this high growth to continue, and you’ll have a key role in shaping the future of tech development at Versed AI.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop a new innovative product
• Contribute to the overall architecture of our solution, for both SaaS and DaaS
• Help produce detailed specifications in collaboration with our Head of Product
• Ensure appropriate testing is undertaken (unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and User Acceptance Testing).
• Ensure quality documentation is produced
• Interrogate our data and actively take steps to improve its quality and reliability

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Python software development roles (full-stack developer)
• Experience in either React and ElasticSearch is desirable
• Experience in developing B2B SaaS applications (including: UIs, APIs, and databases) is desirable
• Experience in working in Scrum teams is highly desirable
• Initiative and interest to explore and learn new tools, libraries, and external APIs
