Verisk Maplecroft is looking for a Junior Salesforce Administrator based in the UK to join the team. You will work closely with the Principal Salesforce Analyst, as well as key stakeholders, to build out and maintain the platform. The role will report to the Head of Client Success and Commercial Operations with day to day and subject specific supervision coming from the Salesforce Business Analyst. This is an all-encompassing role, for an end user, working closely within a small team, covering everything from long term project development, to immediate support, training, day to day maintenance, troubleshooting and updates.

This is a great opportunity for those who are interested in rapidly gaining a wide range of experience with Salesforce, including: advanced Flow implementations and integration with multiple SAAS packages. On joining you will instantly be a focal point for all things Salesforce within the organization.

We will actively support and mentor your learning journey, giving you the time and space to progress your knowledge of all things Salesforce: integrations, process automations and new release functionality, to include gaining new certifications where relevant to our business.

About the Day to Day Responsibilities of the Role

  • Perform regular system checks.
  • Create and edit reports and dashboards according to business need.
  • Work with superusers to help further their knowledge to gain maximum advantage from the data stored in and processed by the system.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end users in a timely manner, including the creation and delivery of training materials, demoing of new features and maintenance of documentation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement Salesforce solutions to meet business needs, solve business challenges, improve business processes, drive efficiencies and increase adoption.
  • Advise on, create new and maintain existing declarative automations to drive business efficiency.
  • Oversee activities related to managing changes within Salesforce, including changes to business processes and technology.
  • Design and implement new processes within Salesforce, and facilitate user adoption of these processes.
  • Evaluate new Salesforce products and features to implement and deploy to production.
  • Help to ensure that the business gets value and ROI out of Salesforce products and that they’re used to help users, prospects and customers.
  • Drive implementations of high-quality solutions through building strong stakeholder relationships and attending regular status meetings.
  • Oversee administrative functions within Salesforce, including: creation and maintenance of user profiles and permissions, user creation, individual updates, mass imports, writing formulas, creation and edit of custom objects and fields.
  • Maintain the Salesforce security model including roles, profiles, sharing rules, and permission sets.
  • Maintain Salesforce as the source of truth for all prospect, customer and sales data.
  • Responsibility for the implementation of an integrated Contract Lifecyle Management system working with a third party.
  • Enforce data privacy rules through superuser knowledge and system functionality.
  • Test new functionality prior to launch.
  • Stay on top of new release functionality to ensure that the business is gaining maximum benefit from its investment in its sales platforms.
  • Support and maintain integrated systems, including: Pardot, Outreach, ON24 and a custom entitlement platform.

  • Salesforce Administrator certified

Essential

  • One year minimum experience in a Salesforce Administrator role
  • Some experience of having:

          o  Built and sent live Flows to help automate business process

         o   Worked with Lightning

         o   Used DataLoader

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work with users at all levels of the business.
  • Great at translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Possess knowledge of deployment strategies and processes – for example: staging environments vs. production.
  • A proven track record of working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Confidence to be able to operate independently, if needed, to support different global time zones.
  • Passionate about Salesforce and its ability to help the business achieve its goals.
  • A passion for self-learning and staying up to date with new Salesforce technologies.
  • A creative ability to solve problems.
  • Well organised with a demonstrable ability to prioritize according to business need.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, ensuring that assigned tasks are completed thoroughly and accurately.
