You will contribute technical expertise to deliver market insights through our suite of software-as-a-service products, including price benchmarking, spend analytics, supply chain risks, carbon (GHG) emissions, supplier and other category insights across all goods and services procured globally by the energy and natural resource industry. You will be responsible for the quality of business results and prioritization of the backlog for the team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In addition to the following, other duties may be assigned to meet business needs:

•  Perform research to collect data on companies, product and service categories, and other energy data to deliver market insights
• Qualitative analysis of research data to classify the data accurately and granularly
• Contribute as part of an Agile Scrum team, in a fast-paced environment with high visibility to the rest of the company
• Collaborate with other team members to drive continuous improvement of our product and processes
• Identify roadblocks and demonstrate the ability to provide recommendations for practical solutions 
•  Lead team projects and manage Associates
•  Actively monitor team’s performance and provide guidance by sharing best practices
• Participate in client meetings to understand the project needs, prioritize work, and develop a working plan
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the team and motivate them to achieve organizational goals
•  Responsible for the quality of work deliverables and  deadlines are met every time

• 5-10 years’ experience
•  Master’s degree required
•  Primary/Secondary Research skills at a level to evaluate alternate solutions and develop recommendations
• Strong time management skills and ability to effectively organize and manage multiple projects with changing priorities
• Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and time management skills with attention to detail
•  Enjoys organizing large data sets, identifying discrepancies, and making appropriate adjustments
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with success in a team environment
• Excellent communication – both oral and written, relationship management, and decision-making skills
•  Strong business acumen with the ability to present and explain technical information
•  A flexible, dynamic, self-demanding and proactive individual; able to motivate him/herself and others

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

•  Experience in the energy industry and/or supply chain
•   Experience with agile methodologies
