About the role
Verisk Maplecroft’s datasets are the core of the company’s offering and your numeracy skills and attention to detail will ensure that the datasets are delivered on time to clients with the highest level of accuracy. You will have the opportunity to be creative through supporting the development of new datasets with other members of the Analytics team. As someone with quantitative skills from your education or work experience, you will support colleagues in the wider Research and Consulting teams with client work and support the Sales team in helping clients to understand and use the company’s data. You will be based in Bath, Edinburgh or London and report to the Head of Country Data.
About the day-to-day responsibilities of the role
- Support colleagues with updates and improvements to the company’s thematic datasets.
- Supporting colleagues and clients with questions on these datasets in collaboration with the wider Analytics team.
- Using your quantitative skills to help colleagues in Consulting deliver projects on time, on budget, that meet the clients’ needs.
- Degree level (or equivalent) qualification in a subject with a quantitative element (required)
- Strong Excel skills (required)
- This is an entry-level role, so no work experience is required but it is preferred
- Domain knowledge in one or several of human rights, politics, the environment, economics, or commodities is advantageous (preferred)
