About the Day to Day Responsibilities of the Role

  • As a key member of our Sustainable Procurement and Human Rights team, you will work collaboratively to help deliver a range of projects for global clients. This is likely to include:
  • Provide expert analytical and data modelling support as part of sustainable procurement / responsible sourcing-related projects
  • Design, maintain and update custom supply chain management tools for clients delivered using Excel and various software platforms, including Power BI
  • Work with our data science and analytics teams to build custom data-led insights and solutions derived from our existing proprietary country, industry and commodity and indices and global event data
  • Contribute to external reports and analysis, including customer-tailored slide deck reports
  • Support business development activities, including project scoping with clients, proposal writing and engaging thought leadership material

Qualifications

About You and How You Can Excel in This Role

  • At least three years of supply chain experience, preferably within natural resources, FMCG or ICT sectors
  • Experience in contributing to the development of sector or category strategies
  • Knowledge of supplier performance management (SPM) including KPI development, on-boarding/off-boarding
  • Good understanding of Supply Chain and/or Procurement strategy development
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Analytical with good numerical ability and attention to detail
  • Awareness and proficiency with Microsoft Power Bi would be advantageous (opportunities for upskilling will also be provided in the role)
  • Strong PowerPoint and written communication skills would be advantageous
  • A genuine desire to learn about human rights and environmental sustainability issues with a view to eventually becoming an expert in the field of sustainable procurement / responsible sourcing
