Job Description

We’re seeking a Demand Generation Specialist to drive and execute the marketing strategy for BuildFax, a Verisk business. Responsibilities include:  

  • Demand generation – Develop and manage the end-to-end execution of marketing programs to drive demand for BuildFax’s property data and analytics solutions.  
  • Sales enablement – Equip sales with the resources they need to be successful, including product brochures, pitch decks, and other tools to support the sales process. 
  • Messaging & positioning – Develop commercial messaging that differentiates BuildFax’s products in the market.  
  • Market intelligence – Analyze customer insights, competitors, and market trends to inform future product opportunities.  
  • Content development – Develop and write a wide range of marketing content including articles, email campaigns, brochures, web content, social media posts, and more. 
  • Go-to-market strategy – Manage the cross-functional coordination of go-to-market strategies across marketing, sales, and product teams. 
  • PR & events – Partner with PR team to drive brand awareness of BuildFax’s offerings and coordinate speaking engagements for internal and external events.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field 
  • 2-3+ years of marketing experience, business-to-business preferred 
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and simply 
  • Must have working knowledge of WordPress and social media platforms 
  • Must be detail oriented with strong analytical and business problem solving skills 
  • Ability to handle a high number of simultaneous projects and report on KPIs  
  • Familiarity with construction, real estate, and investment industries is a plus  
  • Preference given to candidates with lead generation, digital marketing, technical and business writing experience
