Verisk 3E is looking for a Regulatory Logic Engineer to join the team.  In this role, you will work on rules development for our 3E ERC product.

• Support programming/development and maintenance of internal and external programs (e.g. rules or template logic) or phrases for regulatory compliance in SAP EHS. Support internal and external customers regarding technical and regulatory inquiries.
• Support implementation of company standards for rules/templates/phrases development
• Consults with clients on rules/templates/phrases development and best practices for rules/templates/phrases implementation
• Support development of documentation for rules, templates, and phrases

Mandatory:

• Experience working with relational databases, such as MS Access required
• Experience in Information Technology with solid knowledge of windows operating systems, office automation and Windows software applications, such as MS Excel
• Interest for regulatory compliance and/or chemistry
• Affinity for IT/software
• Excellent technical aptitude required
• Strong English skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously and deliver necessary documentation

Big plus:

• Experiences with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and/or in the field of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

• Regulatory and/or chemistry background with interest in IT/programming
• Programming experience (any programming language)
• Knowledge about Dangerous Goods and/or GHS (Globally Harmonized System)
• Experience with agile development methodology (e.g. Scrum)
• Experience with Atlassian Jira
• Experience in SAP EHS and/or S/4HANA for Product Compliance
• Experience in SAP Product Development Process
• Experience in SAP software development technology and tools
