Job Description

3E's HR team is growing and we are looking for an HR Generalist to be based out of the corporate HQ in Carlsbad, CA or in our Canton, OH office.  This will be a hybrid role with both in office and remote flexibility.  It is an exciting time to join the company as we are in growth mode.  As an HR Generalist, you will get to work on a variety of projects as we build out our processes since our recent divestiture. 

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team to onboard new employees
  • Conduct new hire orientations and employee onboarding
  • Process employee data in HRIS partnering with HR team, Payroll, and managers, as needed
  • Manage PTO and timekeeping systems and processes
  • Provide responsive customer service and support to all employees regarding policy and HR programs
  • Maintain and update company Organizational Charts
  • Prepare monthly reports and metrics by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Administer various human resource policies and procedures; assists in the development and implementation, prepares and maintains the policy and procedures manual.
  • Participate in developing department objectives and administers the company performance management process
  • Assist with employee relations issues and partners with HR management to resolve.
  • Comply with state and federal laws by keeping up to date with new and existing legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed action.
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Human Resource experience.
  • Current knowledge of multi-state employment and labor regulations, as well as current HR practices
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must have strong verbal/written communication, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks under strict timeline pressures
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
  • Experience with data analysis and HR metrics
  • Proficient with MS Office suite – specifically high proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Exceptional customer service and focus
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; process oriented
  • Must be a team player and encompass company values
  • Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • PHR or HR Certification preferred
