Job Description

We are looking for a Demand Generation & Events Marketing Specialist to drive engagement and revenue in partnership with our team, as well as lead our events and conference strategy. In this dual role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to enable lead generation via email campaigns and events. You thrive in funnel analytics and speak in acronyms like CPL, MQL, and conversion rates. You love the science of marketing and events as much as the art, and enjoy implementing and measuring new processes and campaigns.

About the Day to Day Responsibilities of the Role

  • Develop, maintain, and execute demand generation plans, including using key marketing systems to generate, distribute, and report on leads.
  • Partner closely with colleagues in product, marketing, customer success, and sales to craft and ensure accurate messaging, timing, and execution of one-off and always-on marketing campaigns.
  • Create and manage campaign content and email communications, working to meet quarterly demand generation goals (net new leads created, MQL, opportunities, etc.).
  • Work with our Content Strategist to help guide the portfolio of marketing programs, including: website, content marketing, email nurturing, paid advertising, content syndication, SEO, social media, blogs, webinars, and both online and in-person events.
  • Coordinate internal and guest speakers, webinars, and industry conference strategy, including but not limited to: identifying industry events, planning event logistics, vendor management, and pre-and post-event communication in collaboration with our team.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a growth marketing, demand generation, or digital marketing role.
  • 2+ years of experience leading business events on a mid-large scale(client events with hundreds of attendees and industry tradeshows with thousands).
  • 1+ year of experience with managing and measuring marketing initiatives via marketing automation or CRM tools and online analytics.
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 15%) and work flexible hours on occasion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously.
  • A track record of collaborating with other teams to execute cross-platform marketing strategies on tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter, not afraid to be scrappy and roll up your sleeves.
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable taking an analytical approach to decision-making.
