About the Role

The Automation Engineer on our technology team support testing and test automation on a variety of applications, as well as help streamline existing applications that we use to support our customers. In addition, as our software design and development partners complete their work on new components of our platform, the Automation Engineer partner with them to ensure launch readiness and conduct the actual launch. Moreover, the successful applicant will help refactor and streamline existing toolkits.

About the Day to Day Responsibilities of the Role

• Refactor and streamline existing toolkits
• Write automated API/UI/E2E tests for multiple web applications
• Participate in Agile team work such as sprint planning, daily stand-up, and retrospectives
• Troubleshoot behaviours in complex systems to inform potential solutions
• Review the work of your team members, providing constructive feedback

About You and How You Can Excel in This Role

• 2-5 years of automation experience using Python; experience of R coding beneficial
• Experience using automation frameworks, with a preference for Selenium
• Previous experience of AWS beneficial but not required
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git / BitBucket
• Familiarity with writing and interpreting HTTP requests
• Knowledge of the SDLC
• Strong communication skills
