Verisk 3E is looking for an experienced Product Manager to develop the next generation platform for our suite of products and services.  In this role, you will work to develop platform technologies and shape the future of platform features and analytics.  As an experienced product leader, you will be comfortable with leading product discovery and definition and driving teams through the conception and delivery of solutions that address critical business needs, while keeping our customers top of mind.  Although, we would prefer to have this role be based near one of our US or Canadian offices, we will also consider fully remote candidates as well.

As a Product Manager, you will:

  • Lead initiatives in value quantification, product profitability, and long term, next generation, visionary product development
  • Develop and execute product strategies, policies, and procedures in collaboration with product designer, and technical lead
  • Decide what gets built by evaluating new opportunities that solve customer problems and meet business objectives
  • Work with Product Marketing to decide how product line is represented in the market
  • Evangelize product vision to internal stakeholders and to the external market
  • Perform data analysis to understand product market fit
  • Champion product to Sales Team, visit new and existing strategic customers with Sales staff to promote the offering

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
  • 5-7+ years working on technology-powered products as either a product manager, product designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or user researcher.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, research, services, data management, or marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and present your arguments that are data-driven and well organized.
  • Proven ability to engage with product team and company leadership and empower teams in a constructive and collaborative manner.
