Role Purpose

We are now expanding our Development Team in Sequel Impact, which is based in beautiful Andalucia. 

We are looking for a passionate Developer with the capability to operate flexibly within a challenging environment and ideally show us a track record based upon experience and/or a strong academic career that includes good English language and general communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

• Performs hands-on coding.
• Assists in building component-based applications in a web/internet delivery environment.
• Works on new and existing applications along with enhancements to websites, web applications, and infrastructure.
• Assists in the development and support of applications using current and new development technologies.
•  Implements and tests new features and versions of core applications, databases and utilities.
• Assists with providing third-level support to business users.
• Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Any other duties commensurate to the grade of the role.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science or other relevant field and some exposure to related experience.
• Knowledge or experience in .net framework, .net core, Java or React is a plus. 
•  Basic working knowledge of all phases of the software development life cycle.
•  Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, unit & integration testing, data and relational databases, technical database design, web architecture and application servers.
• Ability to document development including database design, application design and ongoing documentation of changes and modifications.
•  Knowledge of Agile development methodologies helpful.
• Follows company policies regarding development.
•  Understanding and use of design patterns.
• Understanding about performance and scalability implications in the development process.
