Verisk 3E is looking to add a Staff Attorney to the legal team.  This role can based remotely.

• Draft, review, edit, and negotiate a variety of client-facing commercial contracts as well as other agreements relating to company’s operations, including but not limited to, master service agreements, SaaS agreements, professional services agreements, statements of work, renewals, confidentiality agreements, and vendor agreements
• Collaborate with team members and other company business units to ensure accuracy and completeness of contract documents, compliance with contractual obligations, and adherence to company policy and procedures
• Advise and troubleshoot on existing agreements
• Attend professional development and training sessions
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned

• Juris Doctor, LL.B., or foreign equivalent and admittance to a State Bar of any US Jurisdiction
• Solid legal drafting and negotiation skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple and varied negotiations with enthusiasm and attention to detail
• Ability to solve problems of diverse scope and varying complexity
• Excellent organization skills, ability to juggle priorities, and adhere to strict deadlines

Preferred:

• 1+ year of working with commercial contracts experience preferred
• Experience with SaaS agreements
• Familiarity with Salesforce and contract management software
