Job Description

Main responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Improve our market penetration among insurers, reinsurers, agencies and other financial intermediaries in the expanding business of catastrophe risk management (AIR Worldwide)and property valuation (Verisk Insurance Solution)
  • Manage major client accounts to ensure retention and to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Prepare for, lead and follow-up on prospect meetings with excellence and find out how Verisk’s leading-edge products will meet their needs
  • Work with a high-powered team of professionals to understand sophisticated risk-modeling techniques and to identify new marketing approaches
  • Develop a practical and innovative plan that contributes to the introduction of Verisk Insurance Solutions in Europe.
  • Find new areas within the insurance ecosystem to grow our solution’s footprint and impact.
  • Build and manage the sales pipeline and track our progress
  • Lead big RFPs and close ls with a strong desire to exceed targets.
  • Attend and represent Verisk at industry events

Qualifications

About You and How You Can Excel in This Role

Your attributes:

  • Strategic account acquisition and management – (3-7 years)
  • Strong understanding of the insurance Industry (3+ years)
  • B2B Sales Experience ideally in the insurance industry, alternatively in data science, risk management software or cloud technology sales (3+ years)
  • Ability to follow through the sales process from initiating to closing the sale
  • Aptitude for working with complex software applications and data driven business units
  • Impeccable communication and demonstration skills

 Requirements:

  • Some travel required
  • BS or BA degree in a quantitative field
  • MBA or MS Management
  • Business-fluent German and English are a must (all first round interviews will be conducted in German)
