Job Description

Role Purpose 

Reporting to the Director, Americas Marketing, this role is critical in the lead qualification process and is an integral part of the regional marketing and sales team. The role purpose is to qualify leads from inbound enquiries and outbound campaigns, and proactively target new audiences via lead nurturing programs.  This person will primarily be responsible for qualifying and improving the quality of leads generated for the sales team, ultimately generating an increase in pipeline and revenue.

Main Responsibilities

  •  Generating high quality commercial leads for the business through inbound and campaign lead qualification in addition to pro-active lead generation
  • Working to achieve the KPI’s set by the Director, Americas Marketing, such as: delivering a volume of qualified leads, delivering on pipeline and revenue targets, maintaining a minimum conversion rate for qualified leads
  • Identify and qualify commercial potential, develop a pipeline of viable opportunities and effectively manage the pipeline with the sales team, including timely follow up of all leads and advancing leads through selling process to close
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of products, content and solutions including the ability to articulate competitive differentiators and our value proposition
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales manager for further development and closure
  • Monitor own performance to target, using reporting tools and resources available
  • Collaborates with marketing, sales, research and consulting colleagues to provide input on development of marketing leads

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience within business development, sales or marketing
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialling dozens of calls per day
  • Experience using sales qualification methodologies
  • A proven track record of achieving sales & marketing KPI’s
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Naturally positive and resilient, with an enthusiastic outlook
  • Driven and ambitious with a strong desire to succeed
  • Ability to effectively partner and collaborate across teams
  • Experience using Salesforce and/or Pardot preferred
  • Experience working in the renewable energy space is a plus
