Job Description

The Early Intern Experience is an opportunity for students to get a unique understanding of the workplace, while still early enough in their studies to allow the experience to shape their educational programs. We invite expected 2023 and 2024 graduates to apply to this paid position. During the course of 12 weeks, you will have an opportunity to join our team and collaborate on short and long term projects that contribute to business success.

While all students from all schools are welcome, students who identify with a group that is historically underrepresented, including but not limited to Black, Hispanic, Native American, students with disabilities, and veterans are encouraged to apply.

We are searching for an independent, energetic and multifaceted individuals to work with Energy Management Teams. 

The successful candidate will work on projects supporting the ongoing research and development within the power, natural gas, finance, and renewable energy teams.

The target dates for the internship are 7 June 2021 – 27 August 2021.

The Intern Program is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.  If you will require work visa sponsorship after completing your degree, you do not meet the basic requirements of the summer Intern role. 

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with MS Office suite including Access & Excel
  • Proficiency working with large data sets is required (database or programming skills desired)
  • Strong Analytical & Writing Skills
  • Interest in the Power and Renewables and overall Electricity Sector
  • The ability to work closely with colleagues to design and deliver high quality solutions
  • Adhere to best practices and maintainability while freely knowledge sharing with colleagues
  • The ability to learn to synthesize historical and forecast data
  • Must be working towards Bachelors in related field such as economics, finance, or engineering.
