Job Description

Verisk is seeking an AVP, Identity & Access Management to lead the continued evolution of Verisk’s Access Management program. This leader will be responsible for the overall vision of access for the enterprise, as well as architecture and execution of that vision. This role will report to the VP, Infrastructure and Operations within the Information Systems and Technologies group and will also partner closely with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Global Security Services team to agree on overall vision and initiative prioritization. The successful candidate will partner closely with key stakeholders including internal audit.  In this highly visible role you'll be expected to regularly brief members of the C-suite on roadmap and progress.

As AVP Identity & Access Management you'll lead a cross-functional team responsible for both the day to day access operations, such as provisioning, deprovisioning, and entitlement recertification, as well as the automation of these operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with access centralization and automation tools as well as experience with managing access in a large enterprise.

The day to day responsibilities of this role are:

  • Develop and execute on identity lifecycle roadmap.
  • Team development and leadership.
  • Access operations management.
  • Access controls framework design, operation and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field experience.
  • 12 or more years of experience in information security, progressively more senior.
  • Team leadership, goal setting, performance management, employee development.
  • Solid understanding of access management concepts and automation roadmap.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to Access Management, such as SOX and NIST, as well as general best practices related to access.
  • Hands-on experience in operation, design and architecture of Identity and Access Management tools such as SailPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, particularly access management in a multi-domain environment.
  • Experience with Cloud and federated identity platforms, specifically Okta and Azure Active Directory.
  • Experience with secrets management platforms such as Hashi Vault, CyberArk, Centrify.
  • Knowledge of modern authentication concepts such as device-based and risk-based authentication.
  • Experience in development and solid understanding of development frameworks, tools and concepts.
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed organization where not all reporting lines are direct.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to quickly draft written communications with little to no supervision, create and present meaningful material, and actively participate in team and stakeholder meetings.
